A journey through the Bolivian wilderness ...

On the south side of the mighty Lake Titicaca we went schlieszlich after Bolivia and made a stop in Wahlfahrtsort "Copacabana" (which incidentally also the namesake for the little-known beach in Rio de Janeiro).

After we received but rather inclement weather, we spent only one night and went then on the way to Uyuni - the starting point a 3-day tour of the breathtaking "Salar de Uyuni and the lonely, but more beautiful desert landscape in the southwest of Bolivia.
On board a 30-year old (!!!)'s terrain vehicle came across the 10,000 square kilometers grosz salt desert, past the mighty volcanoes, colorful lagoons in which to see hundreds of pink flamingos were hot springs, bizarre rock sculptures, a "train cemetery" abandoned and deserts. In short, offered in these three days, we can natural wonders that are difficult to describe with words and are rarely captured in photos ... A unique experience!

delighted and yet totally dreamy schlieszlich we moved on to Potosi, where 16th at the nearby "Cerro Rico" since the is reduced century silver. A "Mine Tour" fuerte us deep into the last loopholes of the mountain and gave us a glimpse of how hard work here, deep beneath the earth ...
