Activity After Hemorrhoid Banding

Ruta Cuarenta - On the way to Patagonia ...

If you think you know lonely and abandoned piece of land was probably never in Patagonia. 2 days we were traveling by bus to Bariloche to El Chalten to go. Around 15pm every day we were well shaken it properly - because the Ruta Cuarenta (Strasz No. 40) is groesztenteils from gravel roads. What are we from the windows of our Buses saw was not always varied, but all the more fascinating. A dusty Gesteinswueste was all we could see 2 days on horizon. Only now and then you get a gas station or a cluster of houses, built unmotivated in the landscape.

But then suddenly the landscape changed dramatically. Appeared on the horizon of mountains and glaciers, which have always been size, and larger. At last we reached El Chalten - a dusty Wild West town, which is also known as trekking and mountaineering mecca of Argentina.

marched for 2 days we were there through the mountains - the walking shoes to the impressive Mt.Fitz Roy and with crampons over the Viedma Glacier, the glacier groeszten the world. moved

Impressed by the massive ice sheets of the ice cap suedpatagonischen us then on to El Calafate, where we were met by an even more powerful glacier. extend up to 60m high, the ice walls the Perito Moreno Glacier from the water.

But not only our eyes were here, lured by the impressive landscape. Also culinary south of Patagonia has to offer. Many a steak is now already disappeared in our bellies ...

To the Argentine cattle population not to further endanger, we soon decided not to quite the southernmost tip of South America travel further, but instead the colorful Puerto Natales to visit, to where we then "Torres del Paine National Park attack participated.

suppose you could guess what it is now ... Of course, was "the icing on the i "- so to speak, the crowning glory of our Patagonia adventure ...

The last time we were purchased and placed in Hong Kong do not quite fit for Patagonia cheap tents to the test because the weather is changeable as anywhere else probably only.. you can expect a fix - and that is the wind (or perhaps more accurately "Storm"), which blows constantly constant strong
The temperature dropped with every mile we approached the south -. and it was all to often a fire and the odd bottle (or box) wine for us to warm more ...

3 nights we camped in the famous national parks in South America, followed the trekking paths to the "Torres del Paine and the Grey Glacier and enjoyed the beautiful views that offered us there.

After three difficult days, we lieszen then not only the "Torres" behind us, but our wind-swept and wet tents ...

From Buenos Aires - and on into the next adventure!

On 29 January we verlieszen Auckland against 17.oo Clock by about 12 hours later, Santiago de Chile to achieve. Once there we are then schlieszlich the same day at about 5 hours earlier. Strange as that may sound - about the date line to come it goes back in time ...

arrival in Chile, we soon realized that without knowledge of English is not much. With my little knowledge of English and some English but we managed to book just another hostel, which turned out in retrospect as a gold handle. We were received there by a more than friendly staff and were explore the possibility for a whole bunch of locals. Thus, the first nights in Chile the day and sleep was always shorter ...

After we had taken a detour from Santiago to Valparaiso, was 's to 4 very busy days over the Andes to Argentina, where the wine capital of Mendoza, we paid a visit. A tour of the Argentine wineries, however, brought us to the conclusion that it can accommodate even the "Styrian Heckenklescher" with the quality Argentine wines. So we were disappointed by the wine, but we were so impressed by the culinary highlights, received us in Argentina. The restaurants here offer one-liter bottles of beer and steaks at unbeatable prices. Who wants a lot of good food and above all, and it also has Groszer thirst (also supposed to happen once), comes with 7-10 € pretty good ... Here's place to live so well!

After we had paid even the chocolate stronghold of Bariloche in the beautiful Lake District to visit, we were schlieszlich ready for the long and arduous journey to the far south, which should bring us to our main destination here ... Patagonia, here we come!

Killington Snow Tubing?

New Zealand - North Island

After we spent a night in Wellington,'s went off in the Tongariro National Park, where once again our hiking boots were put to the test.
Early in the morning we went out to six (completely forgot to mention that we Erwin Seppi's brother has visited again for almost 3 weeks) to meet the Tongariro Crossing Trek. had through a rain forest high up it went to volcanic craters and shimmering turquoise lagoons until we reach the point of decision ...

We had arrived at the foot of the Ngaurahoe - a conical Impossant Volcano, in "Lord of the Rings" friends perhaps as "Mount Doom" is known. Should we take the 3 hour trip to the summit, or let it be?
Just minutes after we had put this question, we found ourselves already at the debris fields again, emboss the edges of the monstrous cone. Had we known that there is actually no "way" towards the summit, we had acted differently ... probably go up two steps and down again - so we laboriously tortured us, and especially slow in the summit. More and more we marched into the fog, which almost perfectly fit to this eerie landscape. The mist carpet was probably the reason for another highlight of this day. Without the fog of fuszmarode Uncle Chris would have to start from the actual goal of our walk would be recognized and head shu ettelnd remained in the valley. He was but of a hitherto unknown side and fought bravely to the summit. forget

To the efforts of the long march, we arrived a little later to the comfortable part of the day. After a sauna and a relaxing hour in the Jacuzzi we stieszen of Erwin's birthday and at the end lieszen beautiful day with beer and cake ...

The next day the weather was again by the way, the better side. So we were so once again the opportunity to see our trekking destination from a distance ...

the last remaining days of our stay in New Zealand we visited the somewhat more northerly thermal fields and geysers as well as some Surferstraende on the west side of the island.

bowed But slowly the beautiful Pacific adventure to an end ... The tents were packed again, the gas camping stove uses up to last's and our backpacks again prepared for a long journey. After about 3 weeks went on towards New Zealand's South America, where in Chile awaiting the next adventure for us ...
